“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” - Albert Einstein
Hi, my name is Morgan Bucklin and I am a certified and licensed high school mathematics educator with over 5 years of professional teaching experience. I am also a certified SAT Math Instructor, having completed over 20 hours of training specifically in the math section. I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of math subjects, starting from 7th grade math all the way up to AP Calculus AB. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to teach and share my passion for mathematics with my students. Teaching math has been a rewarding journey for me as I have witnessed my students grow and excel in their mathematical abilities. I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can develop a strong foundation in math and reach their full potential.
In today's educational landscape, numerous children develop a fear of math and often perceive themselves as unintelligent due to difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts in the classroom. However, it is crucial to understand that struggling with math does not equate to being unintelligent.
As an educator, my ultimate goal is to empower students to reach their full potential academically and emotionally. I strive to support and guide them in achieving the grades they are truly capable of. However, my aim goes beyond just academic success. I also place great importance on fostering a positive self-perception within each student. This holistic approach to education not only equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills, but also allows them to recognize their own abilities and strengths. Through personalized attention, supportive guidance, and encouragement, I aspire to create an environment that promotes both academic achievement and self-belief.
It would be my honor to work with your child. With my guidance, I am confident that your child will not only excel academically but also gain the self-belief to succeed in future endeavors.
